  3. In instant messaging lingo, “brb” is short for “be right back”.

    “lol” stands for “laughing out loud” or “lots of laughs”.

  4. I’ve seen the “lol” thing lots of times, Mark, and knew it meant something about laughter; “brb”, however, was news to me. That, in itself, though, is NOT new. There’s a lot about this computer that I’m still in the dark with…………thanks
